ㆍFor higher ranges than 5A, use external shunt with a 50mV(60mV) instrumennt.
ㆍWhen D.C ammeter is used with a shunt, it is noted that a full scale and a terminal
voltage(50mV, 60mV) of the ammeter are same as the rated primary current
and secondary voltage of the shunt respectively.
ㆍUse any leadwire of which resistance is less then 0.05Ω in total.
if the shunt lead resistance is indefinite, the meters may be set up with a available
resistor(V.R) for sensitivity adjustment.
ㆍThe shunt should be connected to the negative side linc. |
